A number of quick lubes advertise $19.95 oil changes and promise to get you in and out in 15-20 minutes. Sounds like a great deal, right?
In my experience, you’re better off developing a rapport with a full-fledged auto repair shop like ours. Here’s why:

John Nystrom—Owner &
ASE-Certified Master
Technician
1) You’ll gain peace of mind knowing we’re looking out for your well-being and safety: We want you to be a customer for life. That means we have a vested interest in doing what’s right for you, your car and your family.
2) You’ll know exactly what repairs or maintenance your car does—or doesn’t need. Quick lubes do a cursory inspection on services they can sell you, such as an air filter. But they won’t be able to tell you that your shocks are shot or your brake pads are worn. At John’s, we perform a thorough 48-point inspection to determine all of your car’s needs and then we can help you prioritize any needed repairs.
3) You’ll save time by not having to make a second trip. If we do identify a repair or maintenance need, we can take care of it while your car is here. With a quick lube, you’d have to leave there and schedule an appointment with a shop like ours.
4) We’re automotive career professionals: Auto service is our full-time profession, our chosen career. We’re very proud of what we do. This is not a part-time gig for us. We work on vehicles all day, and we know certain makes and models inherently have common problems or failures. We always keep an eye out for those things on your vehicle so we can address problems sooner than later.
